Add button to save / process current record

Description
The auto update is too prone to error. Add a button to save record / process record on demand. Also process on record change also. If gross error (i.e. exception) then message box and don't change record.
Perhaps now with process on command we can allow the reader to put in say ?? for empty backslash markers. i.e. \ => \??
