Description
Different languages and writing systems will typically need something other than the 'a', 'b', 'c' footnote letter sequence that OurWord has. So I've added options for:
- a, b, c, ...
- i, ii, iii, ...
- custom defined, where the user can do anything
The default is abc. These are set up in the Configuration Dialog, the "Other" tab for each translation. My logic is that this setting is part of a Translation, rather than a Writing System, because it is more of a publication issue than it is a script issue. Further, because a writing system may have numerous variants of 'a' due to diacritics, the footnotes might only have 'a'. So for better or worse, I've put it as a Translation propoperty.
