There are various situations in which a manual edit that has just been made is silently lost. For example, editing and then immediately clicking in the Structure column of the top-left pane causes the edit to be silently dropped.

This bug forces the user to constantly hit Save (or some other action that saves changes) in order to not lose manual edits. One good way to do this is to hit Next and then Previous, which also is a good way to check whether the edit "took" or not.
