Description
By default, it should be easy to validate an underspecified MDF file. It should be easy to make a copy of this and edit the parameters in order to validate any underspecified SFM file.
One possible implementation of this default 'package' that can be copied and customized:
- Source schema (loose MDF)
- Transforms for inferring sn, ps, rf, etc.
- Target schema (fully specified (tight) MDF)
"Personally, I believe that Frank would really like to see the inferences represented as an 'After' SFM tree, with the tree structure represented by indentation and the inferred nodes color-coded (e.g. in green). Using a more abstract representation (like the Flex importer does) is not as human-readable in Frank's case." -Jonathan Coombs
